George C Wallace State Community College-Selma enrolls 1,475 undergrads

At George C Wallace State Community College-Selma, 77 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 62 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year public institution in Selma enrolled 1,475 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 3.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

99 percent of undergraduates are residents of Alabama.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (74 percent) and white (22 percent).
