MEDIA RELEASE: Commercial Armed Robbery at Kentucky Fried Chicken
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the armed robbery of the Kentucky Fried Chicken, located at 844 Shurling Drive. The incident occurred just after 10:00 p.m. on Monday.
It was reported that a male entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanded money from the employees. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash the suspect fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a young black male wearing all black clothing, with a white mask covering his face.
Photographs of the suspect from the store surveillance camera are attached to this release.
