Census Bureau reports Pickens County population was 20,049 in 2020

Pickens County had a population of 20,049 people in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the WC Alabama News.

The median age was 43, with 52.2 percent of the total population being female and 47.8 percent male.

The state's total population in 2020 was 4,893,186.
