Joint press conference with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District. The City of Selma is thankful for our friends in Washington in the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Terri Sewell, as well as the U.S. Senate for advocating on behalf of this project and ensuring that funding for the design was made available in the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The Office of Planning & Development has worked collaboratively with local and federal officials to make this project a priority and a reality.
