Project INSPIRE is launching its speaker series for the semester with a webinar this Thursday(2/2) at 3:30 p.m.
Nerissa Deramus will present "Culturally Responsive Science Education."
Project INSPIRE is a response to the critical need for K-12 teachers in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Project INSPIRE (Implementing Novel STEM Practices in Rural Education) is a collaboration between the UWA College of Education and the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Coastal Alabama Community College, and Bevill State Community College, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
