Sumter Central alumnus Emmanuel Clarton set to play in NCAA Tournament for Troy

Emmanuel Clarton, a graduate of Sumter Central High School and now a member of the Troy Trojans basketball team, is set to play in the NCAA Tournament.

The Trojans are entering as the No. 13 seed and will take on the fourth-seeded Nebraska Cornhuskers in their opening matchup.

The tournament opener is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, beginning at 11:40 a.m. at Paycom Center.
