West Alabama’s Jacob Marshall appears in NCAA Division II loss to Montevallo

Former Marion Military Institute standout Jacob Marshall took the mound for the West Alabama Tigers on Tuesday, March 17, at 5 p.m., as the team dropped a 6-4 decision to the Montevallo Falcons in NCAA Division II baseball.

Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium hosted the contest, marking the teams’ fourth meeting this season. The Tigers had also fallen to the Falcons 4-3 in their most recent game on Saturday, March 14.

Marshall contributed one inning on the mound, allowing one walk.

The Tigers will return to action on Friday, March 20, at 3 p.m. at Harvey Stadium at Ferriss Field against Delta State Statesmen.
