There was a single gas station in cities across Marengo County selling premium gas at the price of $3.38 per gallon in the week ending Jan. 11, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
Of the 20 reported gas stations in cities within Marengo County, just one offers premium gas.
The average reported price of premium gas in Alabama was $3.50, compared to $3.55 the week before.
Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.

Experts predict gasoline prices could drop below $3 this year before rebounding closer to $4 by year’s end. GasBuddy forecasted a national average of $3.38 per gallon, down from $3.51.
